Galaxa
Galaxa is a high science fantasy universe, where magic, technology, and divine forces shape the fate of entire galaxies. Created by the Divine Parents, Esmerelea and Theadrid, its vast civilizations span multiple planes of existence, each with its own rules of reality. Faith-powered deities, immortal beings, and cosmic entities influence the destinies of mortals, while powerful factions clash over the nature of existence itself.
Magic is divided into three unique systems—Magicka (Galaxa), Astral (Galaxa), and Teleka—each tied to a different plane, and interstellar societies range from primitive tribal worlds to intergalactic superpowers. The universe is filled with philosophical conflicts, technological wonders, and metaphysical mysteries, making it a realm where science and mysticism are forever entwined in an intricate cosmic dance.

Overview
Galaxa is one of the vastest universes in the Continuum Universes, yet it is still dwarfed by Kosmos. It is a realm of science fantasy, where advanced civilizations harness both technology and mysticism, and where Divine Parents, mortals, and cosmic forces shape the destiny of entire galaxies.
Unlike many Universes where evolution does not dictates sentient life, Galaxa's dominant species exist because of the Divine Parents—Esmerelea and Theadrid. These divines, alongside spirits, altered non-sentient beings, creating prepared vessels for their children to inhabit. As a result, Galaxa is home to countless species, some of which are nearly impossible to fully document within a mortal lifetime.
Galaxa is defined by five major planes of existence, each fueling different aspects of reality. It is a place of philosophical extremes, where societies debate and fight over the nature of magic, technology, and existence itself.
Planes of Existence
Galaxa is structured across five major planes of existence and one separate dimension, each playing a unique role in its cosmic order:
- Median Plane – The central plane, where mortals exist, and the cycle of life and death occurs.
- Prison Dimension – A sealed domain, containing Primordial Horrors and Eldritch entities from the early chaos of Galaxa's formation. This dimension is adjacent in placement to the five planets to prevent it from interacting with the Median Plane.
- Astral Plane – A plane of energy and willpower, forming the foundation of psionics and soul manipulation.
- Teleka Plane – The source of Teleka magic, a force understood only by dedicated adepts.
- Aethereal Plane – The foundation of Magicka, existing as a shifting realm of raw mystical energy.
- Celestial Plane – The afterlife, where the souls of the deceased return to their divine origin.
These planes function independently but can influence one another when magic or divine intervention occurs.
Magic Systems of Galaxa
Unlike many universes with a single form of magic, Galaxa is unique in that it possesses three distinct magic systems, each drawing from different planes of existence:
Magicka
- Sourced from the Aethereal Plane.
- Highly adaptable, allowing for elemental control, enchantments, and reality manipulation.
- Practitioners must understand the flow of mystical energies, requiring discipline and focus.
- Vulnerable to disruptions in the Aethereal Plane.
Astral
- Tied to the Astral Plane, fueled by conscious willpower and the soul.
- Practitioners can harness psionics, mind control, and telekinetic force.
- Commonly associated with seers, prophets, and advanced mentalists.
- Susceptible to mental corruption and overexertion.
Teleka
- Draws from the Teleka Plane, emphasizing order, balance, and martial discipline.
- Used primarily by the five Teleka factions: The Order of Light, The Dark Order, The Shadow Council, The Cult of the Beyond, and The Gray Order.
- Known for its strict initiation process and deep philosophical teachings.
- Only those attuned can manipulate it.
Most species are attuned to only one of these magic systems. However, rare individuals—known as Aspects—are born attuned to all three.
The Five Teleka Factions
Though Teleka is a single system, its practice is fractured across five major factions, each with distinct goals and beliefs:
- The Order of Light – Seeks purity and enlightenment, believing Teleka should be wielded with discipline.
- The Dark Order – Embraces power and pragmatism, hoarding knowledge and martial strength.
- The Shadow Council – Exists as neutral observers, recording history but rarely interfering.
- The Cult of the Beyond – Worships Teleka as a divine force, welcoming all who wish to revere it.
- The Gray Order – Once influential but now isolationist, believing all Teleka doctrine is flawed.
Each faction has its own rites, teachings, and philosophies, making Teleka one of the most politically and spiritually divided forces in Galaxa.
Faith-Powered Deities
Deities in Galaxa are not Divine Parents, but rather immortals who have ascended through faith energy. Faith is a primordial force generated by spirits who believe in a deity so profoundly that their belief manifests power.
Deities are directly tied to their followers:
- More worshippers = Greater power.
- Fewer worshippers = Weakened abilities.
- Complete loss of faith = Reversion to a standard immortal state.
Deities may perform miracles, offer divine guidance, and shape reality for their worshippers. However, they are bound by Universal Law and cannot directly interact in physical form, only through visions, dreams, and prophecy.
Galaxian Society & Technology
The technological landscape of Galaxa is highly diverse, with some societies thriving in advanced interstellar civilizations, while others remain pre-industrial or even tribal. There is no single technological standard—advancement varies drastically based on a society’s culture, magic affinity, and ethical stances.
Major Societal Divides
Galaxa's civilizations are often divided by Pro- and Anti- Sentimentalism, governing their views on magic, technology, and social philosophy. Notable sentiments include:
- Pro-Technology vs. Anti-Technology – Some civilizations embrace advanced AI and robotics, while others outright reject them.
- Pro-Magic vs. Anti-Magic – Some societies see magic as the key to advancement, while others outlaw it.
- Pro-Interspecies Relationships vs. Anti-Interspecies Relationships – A major source of political and cultural conflict.
The extreme variance in beliefs and technology leads to frequent conflicts, trade, and alliances between civilizations.
Space Travel & The Divine Constant
Interstellar travel was originally limited by the Divine Constant of the Speed of Light, a law placed by the First Divine Parents to prevent species from reaching one another too soon. However, through divine inspiration and technological advancements, species eventually harnessed magic systems to bypass this limitation.
- Teleka Drives – The Valdian Empire were the most notable society to have first developed it, allowing ships to move faster than light, by phase between Median Plane and Teleka Plane.
- Astral Navigation – Used by psionic societies to travel by sheer willpower.
- Aethereal Folding – A risky technique allowing ships to phase through space using Magicka.
These breakthroughs led to the rise of spacefaring empires, alliances, and intergalactic wars.
Conclusion
Galaxa is a universe of unparalleled complexity, where magic, science, and divinity intertwine. With countless species, cosmic conflicts, and shifting ideologies, it remains one of the most vibrant and dynamic realms in the Continuum Universes.
