Basleth

Basleths are horrid snakelike creatures that are flat and slither around trying to devour anything that comes near their mouth. They have an assortment of colors and have patterns on their backs. Much like a Terra rattlesnake. They are quick and able to evade capture quite easily seeing as they are covered in a thick slime that trails behind them. The slime helps them catch their prey with them in circling them before lunging to swallow the poor thing whole. They are at their smallest about ten feet long with larger ones reaching fifty feet. They are even horrifying legends of ones who are able to swallow small ships. These legends are taken with a grain of sodium chloride and blown off by people who visit worlds they are on.
