Light of It'slâmwâ
The Light of It'slâmwâ is a metaphysical energy that emanates from the perfection and boundless love of the Mother and Father, as well as from the very essence of their realm, It'slâmwâ. This Light is the wellspring of life and spiritual energy throughout Lethurèa, producing unique Luma Particles (known as Lôma in Valorik (Species Family)) which serve as the physical manifestation of a force that transcends mortal physics and logic.
Nature and Origin
The Light of It'slâmwâ is not a conventional form of energy—it originates from a reality beyond the comprehension of mortals, a place with no physical laws as known to material existence. It is the radiant emanation of divine perfection and love, woven into the very fabric of It'slâmwâ and radiating outward through cosmological rifts such as the Stars.
Properties and Effects
- The Light produces Luma Particles, which are fundamentally different from photons. They do not trigger ordinary photo-voltaic cells; instead, only Luma-voltaic cells can interact with them.
- Luma cannot be stored in a conventional sense—it is either absorbed by the spirit or phases back into It'slâmwâ when not immediately used.
- When Luma Particles interact with physical matter, they can produce photons, but are themselves an intermediary between spirit and physics.
- The Light of It'slâmwâ is capable of:
- Healing wounds (both physical and spiritual)
- Warming entire planets and souls
- Nourishing flora and supporting lumivores
- Fueling the power of Elements of It'slâmwâ
- Empowering advanced magic through the Lôma (Magic System)
Transmission and Interaction
The Light of It'slâmwâ is transmitted directly into the material universe through the rift of every Lethurèan Star, functioning as a form of Celestial Radiation. Once in the material realm, Luma Particles briefly manifest before returning to their origin or being absorbed by spiritual beings or sacred technologies.
Biological and Spiritual Impact
- All living organisms in Lethurèa derive primary nourishment from the Light of It'slâmwâ, especially flora which are obligate lumivores.
- More complex organisms (fauna, mortals) still require physical sustenance, but the Light forms the base of the ecosystem’s energy pyramid.
- Only within the Cities in the Stars can fauna and mortals be fully sustained by the Light alone, gaining complete healing and regeneration without need for rest or food.
- The Light is utterly hostile to Malisik Corruption, which cannot exist in its presence. Weapons that harness Luma Particles act as miniature stars, devastating to corruption but rare and difficult to craft.
- Plasma is the only natural force nearly as effective against corruption as the Light itself.
Magic and Rarity
- The ancient magic of Lôma (Magic System) was once accessible to the Free Species of Lethurèa, but is now lost except to the Naa'ôna, Sherok, First-Flames, Elder Valorèin, and the ranks of Deity (Lethurèa) and Lesser Deity (Lethurèa).
Myths, Rituals, and Symbolism
- The Light is universally revered as a divine gift and the literal embodiment of the Mother and Father’s love.
- Numerous rituals, holidays, and festivals are held in its honor, including Lumi Festival and planetary New Year ceremonies at high noon.
- The Light is often invoked in poetry and prayer, described as the ultimate comfort and hope for all souls.
Trivia
- The word Lôma comes from High Valorik, one of the ancient tongue of the Free Species.
- Only sacred technologies can truly harness or channel the Light; attempts to store it with mundane means always fail.
- It is said that, in rare miracles, the Light has resurrected heroes or redeemed corrupted spirits.
