Kaos

Kaos is a universe of gods, creation, and cosmic turmoil, where divinity and mortal fate are forever entwined. Born from the will of Preforus, the first divine being, Kaos took shape through the hands of celestial architects, the Osorian, who sculpted the skies, seas, and land. But the birth of gods brought conflict, ambition, and betrayal, setting the stage for a world where order and chaos wage an eternal struggle.

From the divine shaping of the world to the rise of humanity, the story of Kaos is one of creation and destruction, faith and deception, war and redemption. As mankind navigates the blessings and curses of their gods, their fate hangs in the balance—guided by the benevolent, tested by the wicked, and forever watched by those who dwell beyond the stars.

History

Pre-Existence

In the boundless void, Preforus was gifted with divinity, the first of his kind. Alone in this emptiness, Preforus grew restless and, with his will, fathomed Kaos into existence. From the void, he commanded Sephyrian to emerge and create the foundation of the world.

The Creation of Kaos

The shaping of Kaos began with the work of the Osorian:

• Oelris arranged the sky, spreading stars and constellations across the heavens.
• Vemnar created the oceans, deep and teeming with potential life.
• Kuumol filled the air, crafting the winds and breezes that would breathe through the world.
• Mae'a laid the foundation, forming the solid ground upon which life could flourish.
• Silda blanketed the land with life, bringing color and vibrance to the barren world.
• Lidor set time into motion, giving order to the chaos.

Moved by this creation, Mae'a fathomed Teera, the Goddess of Life, to nurture the world and safeguard its beauty.

Rise of the Osorian

From the dust of Mount Osorios, Teera brought forth Soakra and Duurmik, the first of the Osorian. Soakra embodied Motherhood, while Duurmik represented Fatherhood, and together, they shaped the future of Kaos.

From the oceans emerged Mesook and Molanii, claiming dominion over the seas. From the womb of Mae'a came Niya and Korbrook, who carved mountains and valleys, reshaping the world.

The drumming of mountains and the thrumming of waves brought forth Lyra, Goddess of Music. Her melodies enchanted Preforus, and from his joy, he fathomed Isora, the Goddess of Celebration.

Creation of Man

Soakra and Duurmik together created the five tribes of man, gifting them with spirit and will. To guide mankind, they begot Neeyena and Rossa. Rossa was charged with safeguarding the virtue of women, while Neeyena was given to Malvus, the protector of the world’s core.

Yet Neeyena’s heart grew ambitious, and her schemes would soon bring calamity.

Neeyena's Deception

From the enmity between Malvus and Neeyena came Tandum, God of War. Neeyena beguiled mankind, persuading them to release her from the Core, an act that led to the fall of the first tribe.

Free from the Core, Neeyena bore Kelkor, God of Domination, from her union with Tandum. She later took a mortal lover, and from their union were born the twins:

• Sekora, Goddess of Luck and Wealth.
• Nayhor, God of Lies and Deceit.

Nayhor's Lies

Nayhor, driven by cunning, ensnared Lyra, and together they crafted a terrible song. Their melody summoned storms, giving birth to Moldor, God of Storms.

Acts of Jealousy

Molanii fell in love with a mortal, inciting the jealousy of Mesook. In his envy, Mesook forged a pact with Tandum, and together they brought forth:

• Kolik, God of Disease.
• Kithor, God of Destruction.
• Kremlok, God of Death.

Thus, the second tribe perished, swept away by disease and destruction. Seeking power, Neeyena returned to Malvus in feigned repentance. Together, they bore Nen'num, God of the Afterlife.

Rise of Man

Soakra and Duurmik, mourning for mankind, created:

• Pentara, Goddess of Medicine and Healing.
• Soria, Goddess of Mercy.

With these gifts, mankind began to heal and rebuild.

Punishment of the Osorian

Preforus grew angered by the gods' deceit and petty machinations. To bring justice, he fathomed Elena, Goddess of Judgment. Her hand was swift, punishing the guilty and bringing balance to the divine.

Rise of Man (Continued)

To further aid mankind, Soakra and Duurmik brought forth:

• Esra, Goddess of the Harvest.
• Dekra, Goddess of the Hearth.
• Katherii, God of Creatures and Beasts.

In their joy, mankind’s celebrations gave life to Arkis, God of Alcoholic Beverages. Preforus, pleased with their resilience, gifted them Krenee’a, Goddess of Dreams, to bring peace to their nights.

Nayhor's Final Act

But Nayhor, in his anger, twisted Krenee’a’s mind, filling mankind’s dreams with nightmares. Enraged, Preforus cast Nayhor into the sky, where he became a distant whisper, forever tempting the hearts of the wicked.

And so, mankind was left to thrive or falter, guided by the gifts of the gods and the shadows of their trials.
