Overview

Aroenious is a Living Universe within the Continuum Universes and the divine consort of her own creator, Tor’thum’oc. She embodies the great metaphysical Cycle — the flow of life, death, afterlife, and rebirth — which governs every aspect of her cosmos. Her vast expanse of five thousand galaxies orbits the serene point known as the Origin, where matter, mind, and spirit intertwine.

Within Aroenious, divine order and mortal progress are shaped by the silent influence of the Prime Aspects, her thirteen divine children who maintain the laws of existence.

Divine Parentage and Prime Aspects

Tor’thum’oc forged Aroenious from the depths of creative will, and in an act of divine paradox, she awakened and chose her creator as her consort. Together they birthed thirteen beings known as the Prime Aspects, each a manifestation of cosmic function.

These Aspects include:

Though their influence permeates all things, only a few species know of their existence, and even fewer worship them directly.

Cosmology and Structure

Aroenious manifests as a vast living network of galaxies spiraling around the radiant nexus called the Origin. The Origin is a place of complete serenity — and absolute transformation. Any mortal who enters it emerges forever changed in soul, mind, and form.

Interstellar travel takes many shapes within her body:

  • **Hyperspace** and **dimensional portals** bridge distant systems.
  • The **Plane of Endless Gates** acts as a metaphysical highway, linking habitable worlds where every hundred miles equals a light-year.

The galaxies within her structure flow like arteries through divine flesh, pulsing with psionic and elemental resonance.

Metaphysics and Magic

Two dominant metaphysical forces define Aroenious:

  • Powers of the Mind: Psionic and spiritual abilities granted through connection with higher dimensions.
  • Lifeforce Manipulation (Magic): The channeling of one’s own essence, often influenced by proximity to Elemental Wellsprings.

Primitive cultures treat such power as sacred or pagan, while advanced civilizations refine it into Magic-Tech, merging faith, science, and metaphysics into one continuum of thought.

The Abyss War

Long before the The Convergence, Aroenious endured a cataclysm known as the Abyss War. Twenty-five thousand years prior, beings from Negative Dimensions invaded the corporeal plane, using dimensional anchors within mortal hosts to rend open reality. The war raged for a thousand years until the Prime Aspects intervened, sealing the rifts and banishing the invaders beyond creation.

This divine intervention restored balance but left lasting scars on the universe’s fabric. The Abyss War remains the defining epoch of Aroenious’ history, remembered only by the oldest immortal orders.

The Present Age

In the wake of the The Convergence, Aroenious stands stable but weary. Though free from total corruption, her divine essence is stretched thin. Many civilizations remain confined to industrial worlds, while a few rediscover spaceflight and rekindle interstellar contact.

Before the Abyss War, her peoples enjoyed a thousand years of peace and interspecies unity. Fragments of that golden era persist, but most mortals now live unaware of the vast metaphysical cycle still turning around them.

Relation to the Convergence

While other universes fell into turmoil, Aroenious maintained fragile equilibrium. The Prime Aspects, aided by Tor’thum’oc, contain breaches caused by The Contradiction, though Aroenious lacks the strength to shield others beyond her cosmic walls. She endures — alive, wounded, yet unbroken.

Cultural and Theological Significance

To her children and the few species aware of the truth, Aroenious is not merely a goddess but the universe itself — the breathing embodiment of creation’s cycle. Worship of her often manifests through reverence for the stars, the elements, and the passage of life into spirit.

Species such as the Eldonians interpret the Cycle as sacred destiny: to live, die, and be reborn until perfect unity with Aroenious is achieved.
