Kaos
History
Pre-Existence
Before existence, there was Preforus, the first of the divine. Gifted with divinity by an unknown power, Preforus dwelled alone in the void, boundless and infinite. But even divinity can long for creation, and so Preforus fathomed Kaos into existence. With a single command, Preforus summoned Sephyrian from the void, bidding them to shape the formless into the first whispers of the world.
The Creation of Kaos
Sephyrian called forth the Osorian, the architects of Kaos, and thus began the great forming.
- Oelris arranged the sky, a vast canvas painted with the stars.
- Vemnar summoned the oceans, deep and brimming with life yet to come.
- Kuumol breathed air into the void, filling it with winds to carry lifeās promise.
- Mae'a laid the foundation of the world, crafting the mountains, plains, and valleys.
- Silda blanketed this foundation with verdant life, painting Kaos with color and vibrance.
- Lidor set time into motion, giving the world a rhythm and pulse.
From this unity, Mae'a fathomed Teera, the Goddess of Life, to nurture and preserve the creation.
Rise of the Osorian
From the dust of Mount Osorios, Teera brought forth Soakra and Duurmik, the first of the Osorian. Soakra became the Goddess of Motherhood, and Duurmik the God of Fatherhood, and together they began to shape the destiny of Kaos.
In time, other great beings emerged:
- Mesook and Molanii arose from the oceans, claiming dominion over the waves.
- Niya and Korbrook sprang from Mae'a, carving mountains and valleys with their strength.
Their labors birthed music itself, and from the harmony of their efforts came Lyra, Goddess of Music. Her melodies moved Preforus deeply, and from his joy sprang Isora, the Goddess of Celebration.
The Creation of Man
Under the watchful eyes of Soakra and Duurmik, the five tribes of man were formed, gifted with spirit and will. To guide mankind, Neeyena and Rossa were begotten. Rossa was tasked with safeguarding the virtue of women, and Neeyena was given to Malvus, the guardian of Kaosās Core, as a companion.
But Neeyena was not content. Her heart burned with ambition, and her scheming sowed the seeds of rebellion among mankind.
Neeyena's Deception
The hatred between Malvus and Neeyena bore Tandum, God of War.
In her cunning, Neeyena beguiled mankind to release her from the Core, causing the first tribe to fall into ruin. In her freedom, she bore Kelkor, God of Domination, from her union with Tandum.
Yet Neeyena also turned to mortal love, and from her union with a human came the twins:
Nayhor's Treachery
Nayhorās cunning ensnared Lyra, and together they wove a melody of chaos. Their song summoned storms that shook the heavens, and from this discord was born Moldor, God of Storms.
Acts of Jealousy
Love and jealousy shaped the next era. Molanii fell for a mortal, and Mesook, consumed with envy, made a dark pact with Tandum. Together they begot:
Thus, the second tribe was swept away by plagues and ruin.
Seeking power over the Underworld, Neeyena returned to Malvus in feigned repentance. From their union came Nen'num, God of the Afterlife, who would guide souls through the shadowed realms.
Rise of Man
The last three tribes of man struggled against disease and death, and Soakra and Duurmik wept for their suffering. From their sorrow, they begot:
Hope returned to mankind, and their resilience began to shape the world anew.
Punishment of the Osorian
Preforus looked upon the machinations of the gods with anger and sadness. To bring balance, he fathomed Elena, Goddess of Judgment and Justice. Her hand was swift, and the wicked among the Osorian fell.
Rise of Man (Continued)
Mankind flourished with the gifts of the gods. Soakra and Duurmik brought forth:
In celebration, mankindās joy begot Arkis, God of Alcoholic Beverages. And as they rested, Preforus gifted them Kreneeāa, Goddess of Dreams, to bring peace to their nights.
Nayhor's Final Act
But Nayhor, still bitter and vengeful, twisted the mind of Kreneeāa, and nightmares plagued mankind.
When Preforus discovered this act, he cast Nayhor into the sky, where his whispers linger in the hearts of the wicked.
And so, Kaos was left to mankind, to flourish or falter, guided by the light and shadow of their creators.
