Divine Parents
Overview
Divine Parents are a binary pair of Divines who have become spouses, jointly creating a Universe and begetting the spirits and souls that will populate it. Their responsibilities extend beyond creation; they must also establish Universal Law, nurture their children, and prepare them for Judgment Day.
Divine Parents are the foundation of The Divine Family, raising spirits and souls with perfect love. Their ultimate role is to prepare their children for the trials of mortality, ensuring that they are fit for judgment, divinity, or immortalization.
Relationship with Primordial Gods
Primordial Gods do not possess a spirit or soul, as they are aspects of reality within a universe. They are born from the chaotic forces of a newly fathomed universe and are not Divine Parents. They exist within a universe rather than outside of it in The Yonder Realm.
Responsibilities of Divine Parents
Divine Parents are responsible for several key functions:
- Creation – They wield the Rights of Divine Creation and produce universes, souls, and spirits.
- Universal Law – They establish Universal Law as a guiding doctrine to protect their children and set challenges to prepare them for Judgment.
- Nurturing – They teach, inspire, and care for their children, leading them toward wisdom and growth.
- Judgment – They preside over Judgment Day, determining which spirits and souls are to be:
- Uplifted into Divinity.
- Made into Immortals.
- Imprisoned for eternity in a Prison Dimension.
- Guidance – Even after their Divine children receive judgment, they continue to act as a source of wisdom and inspiration.
The First Divine Parents
The First Divine Parents are the original Divine Parents from whom all others descend. Their origin is a mystery, even to themselves.
- They remember spontaneously coming into existence, with no knowledge of their past—if they had one.
- They discovered that Divine Law was not just something they could create but something that was intrinsic to existence.
- The Law of the Binary was discovered after failed solo creation attempts—only together could they create Spirits and Souls.
- The First Divine Parents fathomed multiple universes, both separately and jointly, confirming that divine conception required both parents.
Despite their vast knowledge, they acknowledge the existence of a few higher mysteries, including:
- The Aspect of Consciousness – Why all spirits and souls possess self-awareness.
- Their Own Origin – Whether they were created or always existed.
- The Aspect of Creativity – The ability to bring new things into existence.
- The Aspect of Free Will – Why all spirits and souls possess it innately.
Do All Divines Become Parents?
While all Divines wield the Rights of Divine Creation, not all of them choose to become Divine Parents.
- A Divine without a spouse is simply called a Divine, not a Divine Parent.
- A Divine who chooses not to create a universe must remain within The Divine Family and may not venture into The Yonder Realm to create their own reality.
- Divines frequently observe their siblings' creations, much like aunts and uncles in a mortal family.
- Sibling Divines mentor newly ascended Divines, helping them transition into their divine roles.
Divine Parenting and Universal Differences
Each spirit and soul has an intimate, parent-child bond with their Divine Parents.
- The love between Divine Parents and their children is often described as "perfect love," as each spirit and soul is intrinsically connected to their creators.
- Naturally Occurring Spirits are still nurtured by their surrogate Divine Parents.
- All spirits and souls are loved equally, regardless of whether they are members of The Divine Family.
- The only difference between those of The Divine Family and others is that only those of Divine descent may ascend to Divinity.
Are There Conflicts Among Divine Parents?
While Divine Parents never disagree on how to raise their children, differences can arise regarding universe construction.
- Divine Parents who fathom separate universes may have differing opinions on Universal Law and organization.
- However, when it comes to raising children, they are of one mind.
- There are no disputes over judgment, as it is omniscient and absolute.
Special Cases
Some Divine unions do not fit the traditional binary model:
- Union Parents – When a Divine takes their sentient universe as a spouse, they are not referred to as Divine Parents but Union Parents.
- Returning to Their Parents – Even after creating their own universes, Divines and Divine Parents return to visit their own Divine Parents, much like mortal families.
- Divine Parents take great joy in hearing about their children’s accomplishments and watching over their grandchildren.
