Maira Kûlaron Tetorak
Míra Kûlaron Tetorak was the Princess and later Queen of the Valorèin Empire. As Princess she was under the Protection of her royal protector and bodyguard, Merek Tetorak whom she loved dearly. She was extremely shy and spent years trying to seduce Merek. She desperately desired to perform The Ûlèum as was the customary method of creating Lifemates in Elder Valorîin society. She had her parents blessing as was a cultural requirement of the two to become mates. Merek proved to be extremely deaf to her desires, and slept on the floor at the end of her bed. Míra eventually made him a soft rug. No matter how often she invited him to sleep with her, he refused. One day when Merek was sparing in the Yard he greatly injured his back. She took advantage of this and once again invited him to sleep with her. He accepted her offer not wishing to sleep on the floor with his injured back. She was quick to make her desires known and they performed The Ûlèum, binding them for eternity. Later, Princess Míra disclosed to Merek that she had been trying to persuade him to perform the Ûlèum for a quarter of a Lethurèan Century.
With hers and Merek Tetorak ascension to Queen and King, came the responsibility of leading their people. Merek remained her vigilant protector, and she became a capable warrior in her own right. She was named the First Warrior Queen, both a mocking and honorary title given to her by her court. Her mother remained High Queen.
With the rise of the Malismorâ and the death of High Queen Onalêa Kûlaron Velarus lifemate, High King Lodrik Velarus, came the start of the Elder Valorîin Rebellion. Queen Míra and Merek Tetorak fled to the Cities in the Stars, seeking refuge from the radical movement. With The Curse fully upon their people and the death of the near Entirety of the Valorèin Empire's leadership, Princess Míra and Merek were chosen to reforge Valorèin society and to protect the future of their species.
Míra and Merek were given the Elements of It'slâmwâ. She was given a ring by Meera that would allow her to commune directly with her. The master Solar Smith Hauthen Miltharê forged for them the legendary Blades of Evil's Bane, weapons destined to confront and defeat Malis' Dark Prophet, the Malismorâ. First, the pair delivered the Valorèin from Malisik captivity, guiding their people home to shattered worlds.
Míra and Merek Tetorak then united the Free Species and set forth to destroy the Malisik Horde and Malismorâ. In the climactic confrontation, they proved themselves superior. At the final moment, atop the Gozog'nokan Observation Platform, as they prepared to smite the Malismorâ’s head from his shoulders, their foe begged for mercy. Instead of exacting vengeance, Queen Míra and Merek Tetorak showed pity, casting him into the Depths of Gozog'nok and sealing the Rift.
With the war ended, they founded the Shíkû Order, the most elite warrior brotherhood of the era, and established the Heroine’s Dynasty—a golden age of unity, peace, and valor.
Their reign lasted for more than eighty Lethurèan Millennia, and their lives became the standard by which all future generations measured greatness. In the end, they did not die, but answered the sacred Call of It'slâmwâ, ascending peacefully beyond the mortal plane.
