Resurrection of Merik
Against all odds, Merik was restored to life. The First-Flames, by the will of the Mother and Father, intervened. After she was well recovered, she was visited by Friends and Family who were acting suspicious.
He emerged clad in white, bearing the scars of his death but alive once more. When she saw him, she touched his face in disbelief before she collapsed into his arms, overwhelmed by the disbelief.
Their love had defied death itself, and when their eyes met, their bodies shook—their bond had transcended beyond life and death. He whispered to her that she had been his anchor, his reason to fight against the call of the afterlife. His spirit had remained with her until the First-Flames restored his body.
