Yalaerin: Difference between revisions

The Yalaerin are a species of [[Near-Human]] native to [[Galaxa|Galaxa's]] [[Yaronite Galaxy]], from the planet [[Yalae Prime]]. They have large craniums, slit ears, and small eyes. Known for their immense intellect and mastery of [[Magicka (Galaxa)|Magicka]].  They mastered the [[Sigil Drive]] and were able to reach FTL travel within a half a Century of Space Exploration. With their discovery of the [[Nordite]] human in their neighbor [[Star System]], the males became infatuated with the pale skin females. Yalaerin possessed a recessive gene for pale snow like skin and it was considered highly desirable. However, after the discovery of an entire species of Pale Skinned Females, they set to work genetically pruning the dark skinned females from their society. Males refused to reproduce with females unless they possessed the recessive gene. Fortunately the Gene responsible for skin color was contained within the Gender determining pair of chromosomes. It was specifically contained within the X Chromosome, the Y Chromosome only possessed the Dark skin trait making it impossible to produce fair skinned males, however, males with the dark skin X Chromosome were segregated from females that possessed the recessive gene. This led to the emergence of two Races, the [[Dakmonian (Yalaerin)|Dakmonian]] and [[Laymonian (Yalaerin)|Laymonian]]. Eventually when gene splicing emerged the species had a [[Regenesis]] where they rebuilt the genome from its foundation, creating the [[High Yalaerin]]. Breeding with a [[High Yalaerin]] by a non, '''High Yalaerin''', but this has not prevented love from stirring. Outside of the [[Yalaerin Empire]] interbreeding is not outlawed. These unions create what are known as [[Neo Yalaerin]], however, they are referred to cruelly as Nokayalae, or Not of [[Yalae Prime|Yalae]]. The [[Nokadakmonian]] are those of [[Dakmonian]] and [[High Yalaerin]] descent and are considered abominations, ''"Purity fettered by Darkness."'' They are not allowed in the empire and are killed on site. [[High Yalaerin]] are divided on the matter, those born outside the empire are more open minded about interspecies relationships. Within recent centuries [[High Yalaerin]] has interbred with [[Lekaran]], [[Nordite]] [[Human (Galaxa)|Humans]], and [[Telerian]]. Ironically [[High Yalaerin]] male genitalia is smaller than that of [[Yalaerin]] which became quite large when engorged. With the females being so small compared to the males this often led virgin females to having sexual injuries their first time. Males stand 187cm and females 173cm. [[High Yalaerin]] male stand 200 cm, female 167cm. Yalaerin weapons technology is unexceptional consisting of [[Ray Gun|Ray Guns]] and [[Vibrotech Weapon|Vibroweapons]]. They are known for their oppressive breeding programs.
