== Definition and Composition ==

A Lifeform is defined by the presence of two interwoven components:

The combination of these two components—matter and spirit—is called the '''Vessel Union'''.   

It is through this union that a Lifeform achieves self-sustaining motion, reproduction, and experience.

Others maintain simpler forms, fulfilling essential ecological and metaphysical roles.

According to the [[Celestial Colleges]], the progression from inert matter to divine being follows a fivefold pattern:

1. **Inception** — Primordial Spirit inhabits matter.   

2. **Adaptation** — Lifeform evolves through natural or divine influence. 

4. **Reflection** — The being becomes aware of its divine nature.
