Despite their brilliance, the Yalaerin are notorious for extreme genetic engineering and reproductive stratification, resulting in the emergence of the Laymonian, Dakmonian, and eventually High Yalaerin subpopulations.

Yalaerin possess dense neural lattices optimized for Magicka control and abstract cognition. Their slit ears provide fine acoustic sensitivity, while their small eyes reduce glare under Yalae Prime’s reflective skies.
