The Teslek Mega-Farms Corporation was the largest agricultural entity in Yedistren, owned and directed by the powerful House Teslek. With wealth surpassing that of all ten Ten Valorêin Kingdoms, the corporation provided the majority of food and blood across Yedistren. If food was on a table in the Valorêin lands, it most likely originated from one of their millions of Mega-Farms.

The corporation is viewed as benevolent by common citizens and nobles alike, donating trillions of tons of food each Lethurêan Month to famine-stricken regions and refugee populations.

History

The corporation was founded by Merek Tetorak and Míra Kûlaron Tetorak following their retirement from rulership of the Heroine's Dynasty and spiritual guidance of the Shíkû Order. At the time, famine and The Curse left much of Yedistren in dire need of sustenance.

Their eldest son, Tes Tetorak, inherited the enterprise and expanded it with the wealth salvaged from the fallen Valorêin Empire. Tes was a prolific patriarch, fathering over fifty children in his 10,000-year lifetime. These descendants were instrumental in founding new Mega-Farms across Yedistren, rapidly enlarging the corporation’s reach and influence.

Economy and Labor

Each Teslek is staffed by tens of thousands of employees. Workers are compensated the equivalent of 500,000 USD in Durks per year, in addition to generous bonuses, childcare, and health benefits. This unprecedented standard of living made employment at Teslek Mega-Farms highly desirable.

The farms also sustain extensive secondary industries. Mechanics and engineers maintain the massive fleets of agricultural machines, while Valorêin doctors, veterinarians, and botanical specialists are employed to oversee the health of both fauna and flora. Hover Trams transport billions of tons of produce and ferry tens of thousands of employees across the sprawling estates daily.

Technology

The Mega-Farms are powered by Voyd Technology, granting limitless energy for cultivation and transport. However, the majority of equipment is considered “dumb” by Valorêin standards, as they lack Voyd Spirit integration. Without these spirits, the machinery cannot self-repair or act with Artificial Intelligence, leaving them vulnerable to breakdown.

This vulnerability sustains entire industries of mechanics and engineers, ensuring that farm technology remains a cornerstone of Valorêin employment.
