Hydrogen Chloride

Overview

Hydrogen Chloride (HCl) is a corrosive gas produced in volcanic plumes and divine chemical refineries. Within VenusLike atmospheres, it contributes to acidic aerosols and corrosive rainfall—an alchemical parallel to divine purification through destruction.

Properties

HCl is linear and polar, rapidly dissociating in moisture to yield Hydrochloric Acid. It reacts with metals to form chlorides and release Hydrogen, while its psionic signature interferes with aura membranes and photonic lenses.

Uses and Occurrences

Used as a reagent in divine salt synthesis and transmutation processes. In alchemical rituals, gaseous HCl is symbolically tied to the “cleansing of impure matter.”

Trivia

  • Known among divine chemists as the “Breath of Judgment.”
  • Its faint yellow glow under psionic fields marks corruption zones during purification rites.
