Genetic Architecture is the structure of a species Genetic Material whether that is DNA broken into chromosomes or some other structure. Compatible species have a similar sub-architecture, while non-compatible species have a different sub-architecture. Sub-architectures are generally determined by the compatibility of genomes and number of structure groups (e.g. Chromosomes).
