Overview

The Ûlum is an intricate network of nerves, blood vessels, and specialized sensory receptors found on the bodies of the Valorèin. These zones are exceptionally sensitive and play a role in emotional expression, bonding, and intimacy.

Unlike normal humanoid erogenous zones, the Ûlum has no pain receptors, making it exclusively associated with pleasure, comfort, or emotional response.

Anatomical Locations

The Ûlum network spans across multiple regions of the body, including:

  • Eyebrows – Highly sensitive to stroking.
  • Cheeks & Jawline – Reacts to soft touches and kisses.
  • Tips of Ears & Nose – Often stimulated during affectionate gestures.
  • Lips – Intensifies emotions when engaged in kissing.
  • Nape & Back of Head – Heightened sensitivity during intimate moments.
  • Breasts, Nipples, & Sides – Deeply responsive to physical contact.
  • Inner Thighs & Buttocks – Extremely erogenous when stimulated.
  • Back of Upper Arms – Sensitive to strokes and gentle pressure.
  • Along & Inside Genitals – Particularly receptive during Lifemate-bonding.

Functions & Cultural Significance

Emotional Expression

The Ûlum network acts as a visible indicator of emotions:

  • Flushes pink when experiencing embarrassment, pleasure, or arousal.
  • Turns sallow when experiencing displeasure or distress.

Infant Bonding

Breastfeeding is very surreal for mothers and causes greater attachment to her infant. As infants, mothers gently stroke their child's Ûlum to:

  • Calm them
  • Enhance bonding
  • Establish trust

Intimate & Mate-Bonding

For adult Valorèin, Ûlum stimulation plays a central role in:

Example: A bonded pair of Valorèin shares each other’s sensations during intimacy. If one partner’s Ûlum is stimulated, the other feels it through their Soul-Tether, creating a dual-experience of pleasure.

Trivia

  • Eyebrows are erogenous – Grooming or touching them is considered intimate.
  • Uulum Zones are unique – Each Valorèin has slightly different levels of sensitivity.
  • Stimulation can cause orgasms – Both males and females can climax through Ûlum contact alone.
