TTRPG Stat Calculator

The Stat Calculator provides Dungeon Masters and worldbuilders with a structured method for assigning the seven Universal Stats—Strength, Dexterity, Senses, Intelligence, Constitution, Wit, and Will—using the Thousandfold (1–1000) Cosmic Scale.

This tool is designed for quick estimation, lore-accurate scaling, and consistent classification of mortals, enhanced beings, cosmic entities, and Divines.

Quick-Start Instructions

Follow these steps for any creature, species, or character:

  1. Identify Tier (Mortal, Enhanced, Mythic, Titanite, Cosmic, Eldritch, Divine).
  2. Assign Base Range from the Tier Table below.
  3. Adjust upward or downward based on biology, abilities, psionics, gear, or narrative feats.
  4. Finalize with the DM’s intended narrative role.

This calculator does not require dice—only DM judgment and world context.

Tier Reference Table

Use this table to establish the baseline for stats before individual adjustments.

Tier Range (1–1000) Description
Microfauna 1–10 Bacteria, insects, vermin.
Mortal 10–50 Animals, common humans.
Peak Mortal 50–100 Olympians, elite warriors, geniuses.
Enhanced 100–200 Superhumans, engineered species, rare mutants.
Mythic 200–300 Apex predators, augmented warriors, exosuit users.
Titanite 300–400 World-class monsters, giant-tier entities.
Cosmic 400–600 Planetary-level threats, demi-divine creatures.
Eldritch 600–800 Reality-distorting or mind-breaking beings.
Divine Proximity 800–1000 Mythic paragons, avatar-level beings.
True Divine Not numeric. Narrative power only.

Stat Assignment Checklist

For each stat, answer the prompts below. Locate the creature in the appropriate row.

Strength

  • How much mass can it lift, throw, or shatter?
  • Can it overpower enhanced beings?
  • Does it affect the environment (craters, shockwaves, tectonic forces)?

Suggested adjustment: ±50 based on physical or psionic enhancements.

Dexterity

  • How fast can it react?
  • How precise are its movements?
  • Does its size enhance or impair mobility?

Suggested adjustment: ±40 depending on anatomical limitations.

Senses

  • How far can it see, hear, smell, detect psionically?
  • Does it perceive in extra frequencies or dimensions?

Suggested adjustment: ±60 if psionic or hyper-sensory traits apply.

Intelligence

  • How quickly does it learn?
  • Does it understand technology, psionics, or metaphysics?
  • Can it strategize at cosmic scales?

Suggested adjustment: ±80 in cases of supra-mortal cognition.

Constitution

  • How hard is it to kill?
  • Does it contain redundant organs?
  • Does it heal rapidly or resist extreme environments?

Suggested adjustment: ±70 for species with multiplicative biology.

Wit

  • How socially dominant or persuasive is it?
  • Does it lead others naturally?
  • Does charisma affect metaphysical resonance?

Suggested adjustment: ±40 for social, cultural, or psionic influence.

Will

  • Can it resist fear, domination, or corruption?
  • Does it anchor itself during metaphysical events?
  • Can it endure cosmic pressure?

Suggested adjustment: ±100 for beings with psionic/spiritual cores.

Manual Stat Calculator

Use the formula:

Final Stat = Base Tier Range + Biological Modifiers + Psionic Modifiers + Narrative Bonus

Where:

  • Biological Modifiers include strength density, heart count, sensory acuity, etc.
  • Psionic Modifiers include telekinesis, empathy fields, illusions, mental shields.
  • Narrative Bonus reflects legendary feats or story role.

Example Calculation: Elder Valorîin

  • Tier: Divine Proximity (800–1000)
  • Biological Modifier: +100 (super-dense musculature, 4 lungs, multiple hearts)
  • Psionic Modifier: +50
  • Narrative Bonus: +0 (not Divine)

Resulting Stats:

  • Strength: 950
  • Senses: 950
  • Constitution: 980
  • Will: 999

…etc.

Universal Ranges for DM Use

These ranges may be used to generate stats quickly without referencing species pages.

Peak Mortal 50–120 60–150 100–200 100–200 120–180 60–150 100–200

Automatic Tier Classification

Use this for quick DM shorthand:

Final Stat Score Classification
1–50 Mortal
51–150 Peak Mortal / Enhanced
151–300 Mythic
301–450 Titanite
451–600 Cosmic
601–800 Eldritch
801–999 Divine Proximity
1000+ True Divine (Narrative)

DM Notes

  • Stats should support narrative function first, mechanics second.
  • Do not attempt to “balance” cosmic entities with mortal characters.
  • A stat of 800+ represents a being whose presence alters the environment.
  • A stat of 900+ approaches godlike influence even without divinity.
