Overview

Argon is a noble gas comprising roughly 1% of TerraLike atmospheres and a small fraction of other nitrogen-dominant worlds. It symbolizes tranquility in divine alchemy—matter in a state of perfect indifference.

Properties

Argon’s complete electron shell renders it chemically inert under all normal conditions. It provides ideal insulation for plasma forges and psionic laboratories.

Uses and Occurrences

Used as an inert atmosphere for metallurgy, arc welding, and containment of volatile divine elements. Some Continuum temples employ argon lamps for silent illumination.

Trivia

  • Its name derives from ancient tongues meaning “lazy” or “inactive.”
  • When exposed to psionic charge, argon fields emit a faint indigo radiance.
