Viridite

Overview

Viridite is a photorefractive oxide gas composed of charged titanium oxides infused with psionic light. It acts as a self-organizing optical medium, converting radiation into patterned bioluminescent displays. Viridite skies are among the Continuum’s most beautiful — shimmering with green auroral veils and whispering echoes of light.

Physical and Psionic Properties

Viridite scatters photons coherently, refracting light into fractal geometries. In high concentrations it can transmit visual data directly into the optic nerve, causing shared hallucinations known as *Green Sight*. Under psionic induction, Viridite filaments grow crystal spines, forming reflective atmospheric webs.
