The Deviants

Overview

The Deviants were once mortal prophets who, through divine revelation, glimpsed The Yonder Realm and other universes beyond their own. This exposure overwhelmed their mortal minds, driving them to madness. Upon their ascension to immortality, they were cured of this madness but retained an insatiable curiosity about the greater cosmoses. It was during this vulnerable state that they heard the whisperings of Lucifer, who had been imprisoned in Outer Darkness. These dark influences led the Deviants to seek a means of breaching the barriers between universes, ultimately creating The Contradiction and inadvertently releasing Lucifer into the multiverse.
