Overview
Plasmagen is an ionized metal vapor formed in the fusion hearts of divine engines. It is the Continuum’s analog of “liquid lightning” — pure energy in particulate form, capable of dissolving both matter and metaphysical barriers. While unstable, it serves as a bridge between physical plasma and psionic energy fields.
Physical and Psionic Properties
The vapor carries free metallic ions (typically iron or titanium) entangled with psionic charge. It behaves as conductive plasma and responds to thought-based magnetic fields. Exposure burns not only the skin but the mind, inducing visions of stars being born.
Phases
- **Plasma Gas:** Superheated emission phase.
- **Liquid Arc:** Contained in divine forges for energy transfer.
- **Crystalline Slag:** Solidified residue, glowing faintly in dreamlight.
Uses and Occurrences
- Core exhaust of Ignispheric and Eclipsite starforges.
- Component in divine weaponry and Aetherion Atmosphere plasma systems.
- Used by rogue alchemists as catalyst for soul-tempering rituals.

Trivia
- The Continuum calls it “the blood of stars.”
- A single microgram of condensed Plasmagen can melt through psionic shielding.
- When sung to, it calms — an effect still unexplained.
