Aether Vapor (designated Φ₇) is the proto-elemental gas believed to predate all known matter-phase chemistry in the Continuum Universes. It is simultaneously a particle field, an information substrate, and a semi-sentient atmosphere — the “breath” from which psionic life and divine phenomena emerged. Within the Grand Archive’s classification, Φ₇ defines the *Aetheric State*: the transitional medium between energy, matter, and thought.
