πŸ“œ CONTINUUM UNIVERSES CONTRIBUTOR LICENSING AGREEMENT

(Plain-English edition, legally sound, not a buzzkill)

1. Who owns what?

All original content related to the Continuum Universes franchiseβ€”such as characters, stories, settings, species, artwork, and terminology created by Jensen Saga Studioβ€”is protected by copyright and remains the exclusive property of Jensen Saga Studio.

Fan-submitted content remains the property of the contributor, but by submitting it to this wiki or associated platforms, contributors agree to license their content to Jensen Saga Studio under the terms below.

2. What am I agreeing to when I contribute?

By submitting any text, character, lore, art, or ideas to the Continuum Universes Wiki or related platforms:

You agree to release your contributions under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0).

You grant Jensen Saga Studio a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, adapt, modify, and distribute your contributions in any mediaβ€”including commercial use (e.g., games, books, films, merch).

You understand that you are not entitled to compensation, royalties, or legal credit, unless a separate agreement is made in writing.

=== 3. What happens if my idea is used in an official game/book? We want to reward awesome ideas! ===

While there is no guarantee your contribution will be used, Jensen Saga Studio may offer:

Public credit (e.g., "Special Thanks" or lore acknowledgments)

Free copies of games or books where your work appears

Branded merchandise

Other fun rewards!

These are goodwill perks, not a contractual obligation.

4. What kind of content can I submit?

You're welcome to submit:

Characters, factions, planets, timelines, or stories that fit the Continuum Universes theme

Fan art or designs

Speculative lore, expansions, or alternative timelines

But you must not submit:

Content you didn’t create (no copy-paste from other franchises)

AI-generated content without human input or approval

Offensive, abusive, or discriminatory content

Anything violating copyright laws

Jensen Saga Studio reserves the right to remove or reject any contributions for any reason.

5. Can I reuse my own work elsewhere?

Yes! You're licensing your fanwork under CC BY-SA, so:

You can post your own character elsewhere (e.g., deviantART, Wattpad, your own site)

But others may reuse it too, as long as they follow CC BY-SA

If you want to submit something but don’t want it open under CC BY-SA, contact us directly for a different agreement.

6. Can I revoke my submission later?

Nope. Submissions made under this agreement are irrevocable under CC BY-SA. Once it's in, it's part of the multiverse.

7. Where can I learn more?
