High Valorîin

The High Valorîin are an ancestoral species to the Valorîin. Their history is stained by their rebellion against the Sherok, which ultimately led to The Curse that transformed them into blood-dependent beings. Unlike their descendant, High Valorîin had enhanced psionic abilities, greater physical resilience, and a heightened spiritual connection to It'slâmwâ, the afterlife. They were designed to be the perfect warrior. The First-Flames designed them to able to fight a threat even greater than the Sebuuk.

Physical Traits

The High Valorîin are among the most physically imposing Humanoid species in Lethurîa. They were designed to be guardians of Yedistren, if the Sebuuk escaped or a greater threat manifested.

• Height: Males stand between 10'6" and 12'6", while females range from 10'2" to 11'9".
• Strength: Capable of lifting over three tons, with extreme stamina and endurance.
• Sensory Abilities:
  • Eagle Eyes – Detect faint movements over a mile away.
  • Supersonic Hearing – Can hear a heartbeat from a mile away.
  • Olfactory Sense – Can detect a microliter of blood over a five-mile radius.

Physiology & Psionics

High Valorîin possess a unique combination of physiological and psionic enhancements:

Four lungs for extreme oxygen efficiency. Two quadruple-chambered hearts to support rapid blood circulation. Vistrum Bond – A weak psionic field that allows them to share emotions and sensations, reinforcing camaraderie and unity. Psionic Abilities: Some can perform telekinesis, empathic sensing, and mind-over-matter feats. The Curse & Blood Dependency High Valorîin were cursed by the Sherok after their rebellion, turning them into vampiric-like beings. Their physiology was altered to:

Require blood as their primary sustenance (beginning at age seventeen). Become completely dependent on blood by adulthood, with alcohol as the only alternative. Suffer psionic degradation if deprived of blood, leading to: Delirium Insanity Rampancy – The final, irreversible state of The Curse.

History & Culture

The Rebellion Against the Sherok

The High Valorîin originally served as honored warriors and scholars under the Sherok, their celestial overlords. However, tensions rose with their lack of freedom and Morâ's offer of Freedom under his rule. They eventually led a rebellion that resulted in the extermination of trillions of Sherok.

In retaliation, the surviving Sherok placed The Curse upon them, forever altering their biology. The Malisik and Morâ now Malismorâ then enslaved the surviving High Valorîin before they later regained their freedom.

The Lifemate Tradition

Unlike their descendant the Valorîin, The Ûlîum was widely practiced after receiving the blessing of both mates parents. The Ûlîum forged strong bonds and was in practice until they were cursed.

Due to Lifemates psionic bonds, High Valorîin Lifemates rarely wander far from one another. Lifemates remain connected beyond death:

If one mate dies, the other cannot leave the planet where their partner perished without both souls Transcending. The Soul-Tether ensures lifelong loyalty and strengthens their mental stability.

Reproduction

Unlike other species High Valorîin and other Valorik Species they have extremely short Fertility Cycles. They are able to reproduce for five days, every three to five Lethurîan Years or every eight to thirteen Terran Years. Shortly after the Elder Valorîin Rebellion the species numbers were crippled. The encroaching war with the Malisik and the devastation of the Curse led to a drastic deficiency of Warriors and Soldiers. Breeding became a mandate throughout the Valorîin Kingdoms. Fortunately High Valorîin often produce twins. The mandate required that each Valorik Family produce seven children, if capable.

High Valorîin reproduce like most Mammaloids through vaginal-penile sexual intercourse. High Valorîin only have one sexual partner their entire life. High Valorîin are sexually mature by eight Lethurîan-Years-Old. However, Zelka do not become fertile until 75 Lethurîan-Years-Old or 207 Terran-Years-Old.

Spiritual Beliefs

High Valorîin are deeply spiritual, holding strong beliefs. Many of their beliefs are forged from the trials they have faced as species. They are highly social and deeply family oriented. Families often live in massive Multigeneration Complexes where over ten generations live.

It'slâmwâ

• It'slâmwâ is the afterlife where their souls transcend.
• The Call of It'slâmwâ – The psionic pull toward death, guiding them to their destined fate.

Communion

The Mother and Father Communion High Valorîin often pray and commune with the Mother and Father. They often receive answers and blessings. Sadly, their descendants lost this ability to commune during adulthood until Bonded.

Parenthood

Parenthood is a Sacred duty. With the decline in population after the Elder Valorîin Rebellion, the strickening of the Curse, and the start of The One War, breeding became mandatory. A Lifemates family may contain as many as twenty children.

Sex

Sexual Intercourse is sacred. Just having sex once can lead to the Ûlîum being completed. This sacred act binds a binary pair for eternity as Lifemates. This sacred act is not taken lightly. Those who abuse it without being compatible may have to endure the Yûkoth, a grueling method of unmaking Lifemates. Sex is the most intimate act a High Valorîin can experience. They possess zones on the body known as Ûlum. The Ûlum is highly sensitive and touching parts of it such as the loins, buttock, ears, nape, and Breasts are extremely arousing. Sex is so intense that often when Lifemates climax, which they do together, they may pass out.

The act of intimacy between Valorîin Lifemates is considered a sacred ritual, to be conducted in private as a profound expression of their eternal bond. This act, rooted in the spiritual and physical union described in the Lifemates concept, is encouraged to be performed often to reinforce their unbreakable connection.

Nudity

Nudity is Divine. Many non-Valorik Species view nudity as distasteful, inappropriate, or even a sinful. In classical Valorik artwork, the Mother and Father are depicted in a nude or semi-nude state. In modern are The Mother is depicted in white robes with her right breast exposed, back, buttocks, and her legs exposed and the Father is depicted in a similar fashion. In religious texted they are seen completely nude ministering to their spirit children whom are also nude. Nudity is seen as the Purest state of ones being.

Zelka at the age of fourteen Lethurîan Years or 38 Terran Years are allowed to where a traditional garb called a Lômela Dress. The Lômela Dress is crotchet with intricate, sacred symbols from white string. This dress has many windows and allows the body to be completely viewed. It is taboo to where undergarments with it.

Technology & Warfare

Despite their spiritual nature, High Valorîin are highly advanced warriors:

Weapons – They wield Kledrad swords, made from the nearly indestructible Celestial Metal Varkest. Battle Techniques – Many are trained in psionic combat, capable of using telekinetic attacks. Defense & Armor – Many High Valorîin smithies pride themselves on forging Varkest Armor which is both extremely light and damage resistant.

Trivia

Morning Nudity Tradition – Many High Valorîin begin their mornings in the nude with their families as a symbol of openness and purity. Emotional Transparency – Their Uulum zones flush visibly with emotions such as embarrassment, pleasure, or displeasure.

• Cultural Division – While The Ûlîum was a widely accepted practice, their descendants the Modern Valorîin found it to be primitive and lacked the elegance of The Binding Ritual performed by the Sherok.
