Overview
Xenon is a heavy noble gas with rare anesthetic and photonic properties. In the Continuum, it is a hallmark of Eclipsite Atmosphere worlds, where its refractive index contributes to inward-bending light and gravitational mirages.
Properties
Though chemically inert, xenon forms limited compounds under extreme conditions, such as xenon fluorides and oxides. Psionically, its dense electron shells interact with photonic flux, allowing for controlled optical distortion.
Uses and Occurrences
Used in ion thrusters, stasis-chamber lighting, and astral mirror construction. Its presence in atmospheres often signals ancient technological terraforming.

Trivia
- Known to Continuum navigators as the “Light Eater.”
- Some ancient vaults use xenon plasma to preserve memory crystals indefinitely.
