The True First War was the earliest recorded conflict in Lethurîa, predating the events commonly known as the First War (Lethurîa). It began when the spirit prince Elidrî'el rebelled against the Mother and Father, gathering a third of each Spirit Tribe (Lethurîa) to his cause. This insurrection divided creation itself, forcing a confrontation between those loyal to Elidrî'el and those who chose to remain faithful.

Despite its name, the conflict bore little resemblance to mortal warfare. As spirits could not yet suffer death, the struggle amounted to a grand, violent contest of willpower and force. Nevertheless, the devastation it inflicted upon Yedistren was profound, leaving scars that shaped the destiny of the universe.

Course of the War

Elidrî'el’s rebellion quickly escalated as tribes split between loyalty and defiance. Vast spiritual hosts clashed across Yedistren, shaking its foundations with their struggles. Although no spirit perished, the ceaseless strife corrupted and destabilized the realm. What began as a defiance of authority transformed into a catastrophic upheaval that forever altered the fabric of Lethurîa.

The Mother and Father themselves did not intervene directly until the conflict threatened to undo their creation. Their judgment upon Elidrî'el was swift and absolute.

Results

The True First War ended with decisive consequences:

Elidrî'el’s Fall: Elidrî'el was stripped of his name and exalted role, becoming Malis, the Betrayer.
The Malisik: Spirits who had followed him were transformed into the Malisik, immortal beings bound by their rebellion.
Imprisonment: Malis and his host were sealed within Gozog'nok, a dark prison realm beneath Lethurîa.
Migration: The remaining spirits, weary of ruin, departed the shattered Yedistren and established themselves in It'slâmwâ.
Ruination of Yedistren: Once radiant and whole, Yedistren was left desolate, its harmony shattered by the conflict.

Legacy

The True First War remains a cornerstone of Lethurîan history and theology. It is remembered not only as the origin of Malis and the Malisik but also as the first proof that even spirits of perfect creation could fall into rebellion. The scars of Yedistren stand as a solemn monument to that truth.
