Overview
Lumestra is a rare bioluminescent vapor emitted by photosynthetic and psionic organisms. It is the living descendant of Terpene Vapor, transformed by psionic evolution into light-bearing air. In Continuum mythology, Lumestra is “the smile of the forest”— a substance that remembers sunlight.
Physical and Psionic Properties
Lumestra molecules contain conjugated terpene rings infused with psionic charge, allowing photon emission during oxidation. The light it produces carries trace emotional harmonics, comforting nearby organisms and stabilizing psionic flow. Exposure enhances photosynthetic efficiency and dream clarity.
Phases
- **Gas:** Bioluminescent vapor phase.
- **Aerosol:** Condensed microdroplets forming “glow mist.”
- **Resin:** Solidified light, prized as sacred incense.
Uses and Occurrences
- Common in Mycomorph jungles and Lucidmist dream canopies.
- Used as gentle light source in divine temples.
- Key ingredient in emotional resonance therapy.

Trivia
- Known as “the gentle flame.”
- Lumestra’s emission spectra include audible tones; forests sing faintly when it blooms.
