Overview
Contradictium is a self-negating vapor — a gaseous state of logical paradox. Discovered accidentally during harmonic experiments with Aetheric Balance Gas (Φ-Ω), it exists simultaneously in and out of phase, annihilating cause and effect in localized regions. Where Contradictium leaks, physics hesitates.
Physical and Psionic Properties
Contradictium defies conservation laws: it alternates between emitting and absorbing energy without net exchange. Spectral data differ for each observer; the gas tailors its properties to perception. Psionically, it induces “ontological resonance collapse,” causing temporary unreality or self-inversion.
Phases
- **Gas:** Instable, flickering, temporally inconsistent.
- **Field:** Diffuse paradox zone; causes impossible phenomena.
- **Crystal:** Only stable form, used for controlled antinomian experiments.
Uses and Occurrences
- None officially sanctioned.
- Utilized by outlaw Continuum sects for forbidden experimentation in divine inversion.
- Employed by some Eclipsite researchers to map reality boundaries.

Trivia
- Known as “the gas that lies.”
- Contradictium cannot exist in recorded systems; writing its name nearby accelerates decay.
- Said to whisper “no” to itself in infinite recursion.
