Luma Radiation, known as Lôma in the Valorik (Language), is a unique form of energy emitted from the Divines and their realms, include It'slâmwâ, a wellspring of life and spiritual power that permeates the universe of Lethurèa . This radiation plays a crucial role in the biology, spirituality, and ecology of various species across Lethurèa, including the Valorik Species.
Properties
Luma Radiation exhibits several distinctive properties:
- Bioluminescent Glow: Lômela Plant radiates an inner golden-orange light reminiscent of living flames, which is both visually striking and spiritually significant.
- Pure Luma Radiation: Unlike traditional radiation sources, Luma Radiation is not ionizing nor harmful, unless one is aligned with Malis. In its purest form directly from a Star or Divine it is pure white, enhancing its unique spectral characteristics. It is also known as Celestial Radiation and is produced by Divines and their realms; what mortals perceive as Celestial Flame is simply the spirit of a Divine radiating Luma.
Effects on Species
- Valorik Species are particularly attuned to Luma Radiation. It enhances their spiritual connection, but prolonged exposure can be overwhelming.
- On the contrary, Det'sikar, a species known for its dark allegiance to Malis, is vulnerable to Luma Radiation. Prolonged exposure cripples them.
