Selaana Elûvèan is a living exemplar of the enigmatic and radiant race known as the Naa'ôna, specifically of the rare lineage known as the Black Angel Naa'ôna. She serves as a Deliverer of the Elements of It'slémwé and a Maternal Guide, bringing light to both the blessed and the lost.
Daughter of another Black Angel Naa'ôna, her gunmetal hue is not a corruption, but a sacred variation—a genetic inheritance akin to divine ethnicity.
Appearance and Traits
Selaana is described as awe-inspiring in form:
- Skin: Flawless Gun Metal, glittering like polished obsidian
- Hair: Molten copper, inherited from her father
- Eyes: Pure, glowing white with no pupil or sclera
- Celestial Flame: A golden core of light shines visibly through her chest
- Clothing: A molten silver backless loincloth dress and flowing like liquefied starlight
- Voice: A cool soprano, serene and welcoming
Though her appearance once evoked fear in some mortal species, her gentle, warm demeanor quickly disarms even the most hardened warriors. Unlike most Naa'ôna, Selaana is openly affectionate and expressive, especially toward members of the Free Species.
Duties and Role
Selaana serves in two sacred roles:
- Deliverer of Elements — She brought the Elements of Power and Elements of Strength to the Chosen Hero and Chosen Heroine.
- Maternal Guide — She assists Meera Jenlek in guiding unborn spirits to their mortal mothers.
She also taught the Chosen how to awaken Lesser Deities by summoning the Element for a follower already that the Chosen [[Merik Teslek|Hero]] and [[Mèra Ûrlek Teslek|Heroine]] possesses within a Sacred Circle.
